Hey guys its me, I'm back with a new look. I cut my hair, as you can see lol. I have been wanting to cut my hair this short for the longest time now,I finally decided to do it, and I absolutely love it! 

I have totally been living in these jeans lately. They are super old and began to tear at the knees so I decided to DIY it up! And ever since, I have been wearing them literally every other day. For today's simple #OOTD I kept the entire outfit comfortable yet trendy. I styled my light grey cashmere top with a pair ripped denim jeans - which I DIY'ed myself. For shoes I went for an easy comfortable option with a pair of black old skool Vans and as always I opted for my everyday jewelry to tie the whole look together.

Today I want to talk about personal style. I wouldn't say I have a specific style, as I tend to gravitate to whichever 'style' I feel like wearing that particular day. Today I'll be dressed like a plain-Jane and tomorrow 90's chic, the next day edgy or street style, some days girly and others sporty.

For many finding 'your' personal style is not easy; as we tend to follow current trends and they may not work for everyone, but in saying so the best way to determine your style is by trying out different cuts, shades and 'styles' to see which suits you best and makes you feel good. Check social media to gain inspiration from, like Pinterest and Instagram. Go through your closet for similar pieces and work with what you have and create your personal style from there without totally copying someone else's outfit but taking inspiration from it and making it your own. 

Five tips to finding your personal style:

1.Style icons who's fashion inspires you- Follow their blogs and social media's to see their different outfits and how they style different pieces and take inspiration from it.
2.Beauty and hair are important- Personal style is not just about the clothing but the hair and beauty as well, as they are factors which contribute to your style as a whole and polishes the entire look. 
3.'Repeat' pieces- Take note of pieces you tend to grab often. These are items you can work around  and incorporate into your new fashion icon inspired style. These are items you love and feel comfortable in.
4.Signature- Find your signature piece like a biker jacket, red lipstick, wavy hair etc. Then making sure it is well incorporated into your look to complete you personal style.
5.Instinct- And finally trust your instinct and wear what you feel works and makes you feel great!

Hey guys!

For those of you who didnt know, im currently in Europe and I recently visited my brother -who lives in Germany. We decided to go on a lil adventure to the city of Heidelberg. It was so beautiful there. We did some touristy things like taking pictures of the old architecture as well as walked up the to the castle- which is a ruin and a landmark of Heidelberg. And not to mention the amazing view of the city from up there!

Did I mention the BEST ice cream EVER can also be found in Heidelberg! At Schmelzpunkt Pure deliciousness - My favorite flavors were Macadamia Caramel, Brownie Heidelberg Fudge & Mango! Id highly recommend.

Despite the weather, Heidelberg was a wonderful experience. It was absolutely beautiful and I would definitely recommend visiting when in Germany.

Lately I've really been into gold, the great thing about real gold is that it is going to last literally forever, yes its pricey but think about it; you never going to have them turning your fingers green or the actual pieces turning black! So for today's post I am going to show you how I would transition some for my favorite pieces from AUrate onto a day to night outfit. 

Day Look: Simple Chic

   

For the day outfit I went for something easy and casual.Slip dresses are definitely a trend for this Spring. I thought I would share an Autumn / Winter outfit with you, before Winter ends, as we are swiftly approaching Spring; Yay for pastel season.For today's OOTD I added a touch of edge to the basic blue jeans and white shirt combo. I paired this frill detailed shirt with a simple pair of blue skinny jeans. By tucking the shirt into the jeans I added some shape taking away from the boxy fit of the shirt. For shoes I opted for these brown  lace-up heeled boots and accessorized with a maroon fedora hat, my everyday jewelry and these cool shades. If you'd like to see how I rocked this look, you can, by clicking the video below! These trousers are definitely some of my favorite. The cut, the colour and the style is simply perfect! I like these pants because they are high waisted, which means it gives shape and can be paired with a cropped or over-sized piece perfectly. Trousers are most certainly a must have in any collection, as they are an easy piece that is simple yet looks well put together and can easily be dressed down. 

For this look I paired the trousers with a black short sleeved knit top. I wanted to stick to similar colours so I opted for these black and gold booties. Because I kept the outfit so neutral I wanted to add some print by accessorizing with this navy and beige floral scarf to tie the look together. For jewelry I went for some gold rings and my everyday watch.
