Glam-on-the-go palette by
Style Essentials review

Lately I have been messing around with eye shadows, in the hopes of mastering that super chic, bold, perfectly blended master piece on my eyelids. Using all the tips my fav beauty bloggers - Laura Lee, Nikkitutorials, CharismaStar, Tati, Kathleen and Promise has shared. I busted out my sad and tiny eye shadow collection and found this palette I purchased a couple of months ago in Germany, and decided to share with my thoughts on this product with you.

Natural Beauty Glam-on-the-go palette By Style Essentials.

This palette consists of 6 all shimmer/metallic shadows, 2 lip pigments, 2 blushes and a highlight, all for just €6!(about R90)

The eyeshadows:

These are great for the center of the eyelids for that pop of bling. They work best when applied with a damp brush or tapped on with a finger. These shadows are build-able and lasts all day when used with a primer and set with a setting spray. I personally only use the dark  brown shade and the two lightest shades to highlight my brow bone and the inner corners of my eyes.

★★★☆☆

The Highlighter:

The highlighter is one of my least favorite products from the palette, it is just too white, powdery and matte which is the opposite of what a highlighter should be.
However, I apply some to my cheekbones as well as a mixture of the two lightest eyeshadows over the top and it gives a great glow.

The Blush:

The blush shades are not as pigmented as these swatches, when used with a brush you get lots of fallout and the color payoff is really light. I only use the peachy shade, I apply it with my fingers quite heavily and blend it in with a big fluffy brush.
The shades are better suited for a pale/light skin tone I would say.

★★☆☆☆

The Lip Pigments:

This is definitely my least favorite of all the products. It's basically a tinted lip balm, it's not long lasting, very drying after a while and the colors are way to light for me.
★☆☆☆☆

In conclusion I would say that this palette would work better for someone with a lighter complexion. Overall it is a very pretty palette, the shadows are pigmented and works best with a damp brush. Despite that, the lip pigments are too light and highlighter just sucks, its too matte.
As I mentioned above; the peachy blush, the shadows and the highlight mixed with the two lightest shadows as a highlighter works great for me, it also comes with a mirror and is quite compact which is great for traveling.
So ultimately I would say this palette is a hit, we have a winner. I do think it was worth the €6 I paid for it! I picked mine up at TKMAXX and I search around but had no luck finding a place where one could purchase it elsewhere unfortunately

Thank You so much for reading, I hope you enjoyed today's post, until next time have a blessed weekend. And remember inner beauty is what is important, it conquers all!
